Avatar: The Last Airbender is a television series that aired on Nickelodeon from 2006 to 2009. The show spanned for three seasons with a total of 61 episodes in its short run of three years. The tweet said, “Avatar: The Last Airbender is now available in HD so if you want to see every glorious fiber of Appa’s fur, now is the time. And if you haven’t watched Avatar yet, what are you doing? Why are you like this?”
The fans had been stoked ever since they got to know about it and already planning to re-watch it even though they have just binge-watched it recently.
Although it’s still uncertain why the show was not streamed in HD, to begin with, there were speculations that it might have something to do with shows’ age as it is a decade old. But, even before the HD upgrade, the show enjoyed a place in most-watched shows even though the viewers were seemingly put off by the poor video quality. But now that we have Avatar in HD it seems it is going to break all records. The fans are already speculating re-watching who had streamed at any time in the last two months.
The show was available once earlier on Netflix, before being reinstated at the end of May this year. While Amazon Prime Video also streamed it for a short span.
